Anesthesia Department Education - Various - Cases or Scenarios

The Anesthesia Department provides education on a range of clinical and operational topics. Sessions may include reviews of actual cases or mock case scenarios to support performance improvement and ongoing learning. Departmental processes are examined to identify opportunities for enhancement, including evaluation of potential staffing models to improve efficiency. The team also collaborates with Operating Room leadership to develop and implement process‑improvement strategies.

Learning Objectives

- Implement various models of care for the OR / Anesthesia team to trial for additional efficiencies. 
- Apply the effective / efficient models for a period of time.  
- Utilize other system models as well as those derived by our facilities. 
- Design a combination of existing as well as additional tested model for daily use. 
- Evaluate the progress against previous data to ensure progress / patient safety and quality care objectives are maintained.
