Systemwide_Culturally Competent Skills and Behaviors

This training provides an overview of cultural competence in health care, in order to provide care to patients with diverse values, beliefs and behaviors, including tailoring delivery to meet patients’ social, cultural, and linguistic needs.

Target Audience

Physicians, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Incorporate cultural knowledge, behaviors, and interpersonal and clinical skills that enhances their effectiveness in managing patient care.
