2022 UPMC Shadyside Virtual Pulmonary Conference

This conference includes 7 speakers discussing the most up-to-date concepts and research on a variety of topics relevant to nurses and other healthcare workers who care for patients with a variety of pulmonary problems.  Topics include: 

  • Advantages of Robotic Assisted vs. Conventional Lung Surgery
  • COVID-19 Survivors: What are we seeing and hearing from survivors 2 years after the start of this pandemic
  • COVID-19 & Vaccine Update
  • Social Media: Posting, Privacy, etc.
  • Terminal Extubation: Process from start to finish
  • Legal Issues within Healthcare

Target Audience

Nurses, respiratory therapists, and other staff working with patients with pulmonary problems.
