What is a CEU

The term CEU is no longer used by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the PA State Board of Nursing. The ANCC specifically states that CE providers should not use the term. By definition, a CEU is a specific credit designation used by organizations accredited by the IACET and not compatible with ANCC credit.
