Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the session, each participant will receive hands on practice and guidance of five point of care ultrasound exams with direct observation. The common exams are: FAST, deep vein thrombosis ultrasonography, ultrasound guided peripheral IV placement, renal ultrasound, and soft tissue/MSK ultrasonography. Participants will learn the uses of these ultrasound exams and how to interpret their findings. Participants will gain experience that will aid them in delivering higher quality and more efficient patient care.
