WLA: Infection Prevention System Orientation Module 3: Information Technology
New Infection Preventionists need to receive standardized, system-level guidance about UPMC System information technology resources, applications for event reporting, and surveillance data reporting definitions. Knowledge of and ability to properly utilize internal applications and external platforms enables them to maintain a consistent approach to event reporting that provides information needed to improve staff, visitor, and patient safety.
