CCM APP Bootcamp
This course is intended for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical students, residents, fellows, nurse practitioner students, physician assistant students practicing or have an interest in Critical Care Medicine. This course will educate on updates in clinical practice or new information on systemwide initiatives affecting Critical Care Medicine.
Target Audience
Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, Physician, Physician Assistant, Medical Student, Medical Resident, and Medical Fellow.
Learning Objectives
Provide enhanced training and knowledges of commonly seen Critical Care differentials
Healthcare provider will be able to identify key components of the patients with heart failure
Healthcare provider will be able to familiar with key components a Massive Transfusion Protocol and transfusion goals
Healthcare provider will be able to describe a basic approach to CXR interpretation and recognize normal versus abnormal findings
Healthcare provider will be able to describe basic approach to airway management
Healthcare provider will be able to effectively document in alignment with the UPMC Quality Capture Team Healthcare provider will be able to describe the steps of the UPMC Sepsis initiative
Healthcare provider will be able to recognize key components of evidence based and protocolized care of the patient with sepsis
