New medications and new guidelines are constantly being released. Pharmacists need a mechanism to keep up with these new medications and guidelines.
The use of antibiotics in COPD exacerbations remains controversial. This presentation will highlight both risks and benefits of antibiotic use for COPD exacerbations based on literature evidence. At this education's end, pharmacists will have increased confidence in determining appropriateness of antibiotics in a patient's COPD exacerbation pharmacological management.
