OAPP Grand Rounds - An Introduction to Patient Safety (WISER)

Ensuring that staff and providers are up to date on the latest safety updates in healthcare delivery.

All members of the interprofessional healthcare team must be engaged when patient safety issues arise to ensure appropriate implementation of policies and mechanisms

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the basic requirements of the Pennsylvania MCARE act (Act 13).
  • Recognize how and where to report an event.
  • Verbalize the four questions relating to accountability in a Just Culture.
