Providing Psychosocial Supports to the Children of Adult Patients
Working with an adult patient population, the Clinical Care Coordination and Discharge Planning department staff do not have much experience with skills/interventions focusing on the children that are a part of our patient families.
This activity will help provide more education/skills to utilize and thus ease the comfort level of staff when working with families with children. It will also provide an opportunity to distribute more pertinent resources to these families.
