To understand the basic structure of Child Protective Services in Pennsylvania so that you can best help yourself and families anticipate next steps.

To understand the services the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Child Advocacy Center offers and how to utilize them.

To know the components of a good Childline/Report to CPS and have confidence in your ability to report well.

Understand the few exceptions to the usual UPMC rule of disclosing to families that you are reporting.
