General Provider Documentation Improvement_Enduring

This training will provide a brief overview of general provider documentation improvement for compliant ICD-10-CM diagnosis code reporting.

Target Audience

Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, and clinical staff.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Review ICD-10-CM documentation guidelines for diagnosis reporting support and identify general provider documentation pitfalls.
  • Apply ICD-10-CM guidelines to enhance the accuracy and completeness of provider documentation in order to help improve provider documentation.
  • Implement best practice documentation techniques by applying new documentation tips.
