Bridges to Epic Excellence: ED Nurses

This asynchronous education enhances ED Narrator workflows. Participants will learn to review multiple encounters, dock reports, document blood administration, one-step medications, and use the Vitals QuickBar, Practice keyboard shortcuts, searching patient charts, documenting massive transfusion events, rainbow draws, and correcting chart errors. Update user settings, configure the ED Narrator's appearance, add favorite items, and create custom versions of the ED Track Board, ED Manager, Hyperspace toolbar, and patient chart activities. Intended for nurse with prior workflow training.

Nurses and Nurse Practitioners.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Create and configure ED Narrator workflows and interface settings
  • Efficiently document encounters, including blood administration, one-step medications, vitals, rainbow draws, and massive transfusion events
  • Use keyboard shortcuts and QuickBar tools to streamline documentation
  • Review multiple encounters, dock reports, and locate key patient chart information
  • Customize and manage Chart Review filters, ED Track Board, ED Manager, and Hyperspace toolbar
  • Identify and correct charting errors
