Bridges to Epic Excellence: Inpatient Nurse

This asynchronous course will help transition the IP nurse from the Cerner platform to Epic by learning how to set up their workspace to access critical information easily, find a patient quickly, and customizing various tools. The training addresses performance and competence gaps related to Epic proficiency and supports improved patient outcomes through better operational oversight.

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Locate patient information and use Chart Review to find information
  • Explore customization options in various tools
  • Personalize workspaces and activities
  • Articulate how to adjust Patient List columns
  • Create and Flowsheet macros
  • Describe how to sort medications on the MAR.
