2026 Midwest Pediatric Cardiology Society Annual Meeting

On behalf of the Heart Institute at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, we formally welcome you to the 2026 Midwest Pediatric Cardiology Society annual meeting. Throughout this two-day event, experts from leading institutions across the Midwest will share emerging research, complex case experiences, innovations in clinical practice, and evolving technologies in pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. Sessions will include invited lectures, abstract presentations, case discussions, and multidisciplinary panels.

Learning Objectives

Describe recent advancements in the diagnosis and management of congenital heart disease in pediatric and adult patients.

Apply current best practices in cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology to clinical decision-making.

Interpret new imaging techniques and technologies in echocardiography and other non-invasive modalities for improved diagnostic accuracy.

Evaluate emerging surgical approaches and perioperative strategies in pediatric cardiovascular surgery.

Collaborate more effectively across multidisciplinary teams to enhance continuity and quality of care in pediatric cardiology.

Integrate recent research findings and case-based insights into clinical practice to optimize patient outcomes.
