Learning Objectives
Learners will be able to explain what peritoneal dialysis is, pathophysiology of peritoneal dialysis, and complications of peritoneal dialysis.
Learners will be able to successfully demonstrate the use of the Baxter Amia cycler during set-up, initiation of treatment and discontinuation of treatment.
Learners will discuss and demonstrate the appropriate documentation of initiation of PD treatment, and completion of PD treatment.
