Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity/session/course, participants should be able to correctly utilize the ESI algorithm and assign appropriate acuity for patients presenting to the ED. Participants should also be able to implement a plan of care for special populations and use standing orders for the care of patients in triage.
