IBD Collaborative:
The IBD Collaborative is a semi-annual physician education program designed to discuss advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) treatments and procedures. This program is presented in partnership between the UPMC and AHN IBD Centers, and all academic and community gastroenterologists within the Greater Pittsburgh region are invited. The IBD Collaborative educates in a mix of didactic lectures, case presentations, and journal review in a fast-paced format.
This IBD Collaborative Medical Treatment for the Pregnant IBD Mom gastroenterologist education program is designed for physicians committed to Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis patient care. Other medical professionals committed to IBD patient care are welcome. Discussions will feature innovative IBD patient case discussions and cutting edge treatment advancements. Cases and literature review will be presented by both UPMC and AHN attendings and GI fellows, and discussion will be encouraged among all in attendance.
