Internet Safety, Cyberbullying, & Sexting/Sextortion Recorded PES
The Child Advocacy Center of UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is pleased to present and facilitate a presentation and open discussion on the topics of internet safety, social media applications, cyberbullying, and sexting/sextortion. The presentation will incorporate new information in the areas of dangers that exist online for children and will assist parents and providers increase their knowledge on current social media trends and applications.

Learning Objectives
Following the webinar the learner will be able to:
1) Describe awareness of social media applications, their desired audiences, and security on social media apps
2) Identify sources, warning signs, and outcomes of Cyberbullying.
3) Discuss current issues and dangers involving sexting/sextortion, outcomes, and case histories.
4) Learn ways to speak to children regarding these concerns and questions to ask, while still facilitating trust and open communication.
