  • Discuss the impact of Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTIs)
  • Discuss the indications of indwelling urinary catheters
  • Explain the provider’s role to prevent CAUTIs
  • Utilize appropriate urine culturing practices
  • Discuss the indications to order C. diff testing
  • Apply the 2-step C. diff algorithm
