Intent: The goal of this two-part continuing education program is to educate attendees about the pharmacologic challenges in the management of patients with COVID-19 and the updated immunization recommendations for pneumococcal vaccination.

- Recall the pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13) and pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPSV23) dosing needs of adults age 19 older indicated for pneumococcal vaccination
- Apply the CDC’s PneumoRecs VaxAdvisor application resource to patient cases to make pneumococcal vaccine recommendations
