Journal Club – Knowledge and Practices of Nurses Regarding Wound Healing
Journal Club is designed to give participants experience with appraising current literature and identifying best practice based on research.

This course is open to anyone interested in the topic.
Learning Objectives
The learner will be able to:
- Critique the journal article by identifying the purpose, design, limitations, and results
- Identify factors that play a crucial role in wound healing and the prevention of surgical complications
- Describe the benefits of education of the surgical nurse in wound care practices and how these improve patient outcomes
