SATA New England Symposium 2021
This SATA regional meeting is to provide the audience the updated knowledge on several critical management issues in abdominal transplant patients.
Target Audience
Transplant anesthesiologists, intensivists, transplant surgeons, residents, and fellows.
Learning Objectives
1. Update the audience on new approaches in the assessment of patients with acute liver failure and perioperative management.
2. Update the audience on the impact of valvular heart disease on liver transplantation, including preoperative workup and optimization.
3. Introduce essential TEE/POCUS skills for transplantation anesthesiologists.
