Women's Behavioral Health - Before, During and After Pregnancy
The purpose of this educational activity is to enhance the case management and health coaching team's knowledge and comfort level identifying and addressing behavioral health issues that are likely to affect women’s health before, during, and after pregnancy.

Alin Severance, MD CCBH - Associate Medical Director
Dr. Severance is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 13 years of clinical experience. He previously was a consultant psychiatrist at Magee Women's Hospital and regularly evaluated women with behavioral health concerns who were either pregnant or who were recently postpartum. In his private practice Dr. Severance has treated numerous women through the family planning, pregnancy and postpartum periods.
CCM CE will be provided: 1 CE and sent from UPMC Health Plan nurse planner
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, University of Pittsburgh is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program.
