Learning Objectives
The learner will be able to:
- Recall strategies to assess patients for symptoms of oncologic emergencies.
- Recognize the diagnostic workup for oncologic emergencies.
- Identify interventions to treat or manage the side effects of patients with oncologic emergencies.
- Identify the similarities and differences between palliative care and hospice care.
- Demonstrate learning has occurred by receiving at least an 85% on knowledge assessment.
