In this lecture, Dr. Levitt will describe the evolution of care of children with colorectal problems. He will provide examples of multi-disciplinary teams and the basic elements required for such teams to achieve success. Furthermore, he will discuss the moral imperative to achieving a collaborative care model for children with colorectal problems and describe the institutional commitments required to encourage collaboration amongst providers.
