Bridges to Epic Excellence: Anesthesia
This CME activity will equip providers with practical skills to streamline anesthesia documentation and data analysis in Epic. Participants will learn to configure macros for efficient note-taking and pertinent negative documentation, track anesthesia metrics using Reporting Workbench, explore clinical data with SlicerDicer, and document on the go with mobile tools. The course addresses a current gap in provider familiarity with these Epic features, aiming to improve documentation efficiency, patient safety, and outcomes.

This training is designed for Physicians and Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Describe how to use and configure macros to quickly document notes
- Create and use macros on the Problem List to quickly document pertinent negatives
- Track anesthesia patient care and efficiency metrics using Reporting Workbench
- Articulate the data in the system using SlicerDicer
- Complete anesthesia documentation on the go using mobile tools.
