WLA - Building the Right Team-Online
A QI project is never an individual effort. It involves multiple people to drive improvement forward. Building an effective team is the foundation of a successful project. This module will guide learners through building the right team for their project.
Target Audience
Pediatric Physicians, Fellows, Residents, and Advanced Practice Providers
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the attributes of high-performing teams related to the number of team members, skill sets, common purpose, and accountability
- Determine the effective number of team members based on established goals
- Successfully recruit team members with the necessary skills to deliver the product or services
- Communicate a shared vision throughout the team
- Ensure team members feel valued and their contributions meaningful
