2025 Vision Research Day
Target Audience
This course is designed for physicians practicing in the area of ophthalmology, as well as other health care professionals. Our graduating residents and fellows will be joined by our scientists in training, providing an intermixed range of topics from the bench to the bedside.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the symposium, participants should be able to:
1. List the current research activities of the trainees within the Department of Ophthalmology at UPSOM.
2. Identify opportunities for future research within the Department of Ophthalmology at UPSOM.
3. Recognize the importance, opportunities for, and challenges related to the pursuit of a career within academic ophthalmology.
4. Understand the importance of the psycho-social issues affecting the patient who suffered a severe eye injury and be aware of appropriate sites for referral.
