2026 Al Biglan Lecture
This activity will have lectures on multiple topic and audience participation and discussions. The primary focus will be the Al Biglan Lecture being based on adult strabismus.

Learning Objectives
-Recognize and classify common causes of adult strabismus, including decompensated childhood strabismus, neurologic, restrictive, and sensory etiologies.
-Apply practical diagnostic strategies for evaluating adult strabismus, including accurate measurements, appropriate use of prisms, and indications for neuroimaging.
-Develop effective management plans for adult strabismus patients using medical, optical, and surgical approaches, including indications for adjustable suture techniques.
-Improve patient counseling by addressing expectations, risks, benefits, and quality-of-life outcomes related to adult strabismus treatment.
-Integrate evidence-based “tips and tricks” into clinical practice to enhance surgical planning, reduce complications, and improve functional and patient-reported outcomes.
-Collaborate effectively with the interprofessional healthcare team to optimize referral patterns, perioperative care, and long-term management of adult strabismus patients.
