2026 Clinical Neurophysiology Multidisciplinary Course

September 11, 2026 to September 12, 2026

This comprehensive clinical neurophysiology course, scheduled for September 11–12, 2026, offers focused educational tracks in EEG & Epilepsy and Advances in Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM). Led by recognized experts, the EEG & Epilepsy track explores seizure classification, EEG interpretation, and advanced epilepsy management, including surgical and neuromodulation approaches, while the IONM track emphasizes monitoring and mapping in advanced spine procedures, neuroimaging integration, functional neurosurgical procedures, and interactive case study presentations. Sessions across both tracks are designed to integrate didactic lectures, interactive case discussions, and expert-led dialogue, with the overall goal of strengthening clinical knowledge, decision-making, and practical skills in these core domains of clinical neurophysiology.

Target Audience

Physician
Surgical Neurophysiologists
Neurodiagnostic Technologists

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:
Apply standardized EEG terminology and advanced interpretation strategies to improve diagnostic accuracy and clinical decision-making in epilepsy care.
Better identify appropriate candidates for epilepsy surgery and neuromodulation, and initiate timely referrals based on current evidence-based criteria.
Implement best practices in EMU workflows, including seizure safety protocols, medication management, and patient education strategies.
Interpret intraoperative neuromonitoring data in real time and apply structured response strategies to optimize surgical decision-making and patient safety.
Apply advanced IONM techniques and troubleshooting approaches in complex spine and neurosurgical procedures to improve consistency and outcomes.
Integrate diagnostic, surgical, and neuromodulation data across disciplines to support coordinated, team-based care.
Demonstrate effective interprofessional communication and collaboration strategies to improve coordination of care and clinical outcomes across the healthcare team.
