Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the activity the learner will be able to:
- Define and describe rationales of using and identifying sites of administration of intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
- Verbalize patient education key points regarding intramuscular and subcutaneous injection and common drugs given by these techniques.
- Identify special considerations to be taken for administering medications intramuscularly or subcutaneously.
