Target Audience
Physicians, residents, and students with a focus in podiatric foot and ankle surgery and education.
Learning Objectives
- EVIDENCES-BASED ASSESSMENT:
Discussion of evidence based medicine regarding surgical and non-surgical rear foot, and soft tissue pathology.
- LEARNING OBJECTIVES
We aim to educate on clinical and surgical pearls and techniques as learned through practice and direct experience. We will also include education on practice management to include but not limited to clinical and surgical billing, staff training, communication and protocols. Lastly, we will discuss the transition from resident to young physician to include goals such as growing a new practice, marketing and fellowship training.
- This course will have three main sections of educational content:
1. Clinical and Surgical pearls
2. Practice Management
3. Young physician transition and practice management
