9th Annual Neurovascular Symposium
The Neurovascular Symposium is designed to bring together healthcare professionals across disciplines to enhance collaboration and improve outcomes in stroke and neurovascular care. Attendees will gain insight into the latest evidence-based practices, emerging therapies, and real-world strategies to optimize patient care from prehospital recognition through post-acute recovery.

Learning Objectives
Analyze the clinical implications of the CREST-2 trials in the management of asymptomatic carotid artery stenosis.
Evaluate treatment strategies for stroke prevention, including revascularization and intensive medical therapy.
Identify appropriate patient populations for medical versus procedural management based on current evidence.
Interpret current evidence supporting extended thrombolytic treatment windows, including Tenecteplase.
Apply evidence-based patient selection criteria for TNK administration in extended-window and wake-up stroke presentations.
Recognize contraindications and safety considerations associated with extended-window thrombolytic therapy.
Review current standards of care for intracerebral hemorrhage management including medical and surgical management strategies.
Assess the use of minimally invasive surgical techniques in hemorrhagic stroke treatment.
Identify clinical indicators for surgical versus medical management of hemorrhagic stroke.
Examine obstructive sleep apnea as a modifiable risk factor for ischemic stroke.
Identify appropriate screening and diagnostic approaches for patients at risk for sleep apnea.
Recognize treatment strategies that may reduce recurrent stroke risk and improve patient outcomes
Recognize early complications of stroke and initiate appropriate interventions.
Summarize evidence-based strategies for secondary stroke prevention.
Develop discharge plans that reduce recurrent stroke risk. Identify modifiable risk factors and interventions to support long-term stroke prevention.
