Faculty, residents, fellows and community physicians in family practice, general internal medicine, and medical subspecialties.
 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the diagnostic criteria for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  2. Order spirometry and correctly interpret airflow obstruction by FEV1/FVC
  3. Identify standard-of-care pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies for patients with COPD
  4. Initiate long-acting bronchodilator therapy in symptomatic patients or those with elevated exacerbation risk.
