Pennsylvania Anesthesiology Resident Research Conference
The UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center)/University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (UPSOM) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine and the UPSOM Center for Continuing Education in the Health Sciences invite you to the 17th Annual Pennsylvania Anesthesiology Resident Research Conference (PARRC).
PARRC is a wonderful opportunity for residents and faculty to learn about current, cutting-edge research by anesthesiology residents from residency programs across the state of Pennsylvania. As you listen to the original research and case report presentations, you will learn about resident scholarly activities performed at each institution.
Target Audience
The target audience for this conference comprises anesthesiology trainees, program directors, department chairs, clinical and research anesthesiologists, and another interested health care personnel.
Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of the conference, attendees should be able to:
• Articulate a knowledge of currently conducted original studies and case reports
• Critically evaluate the scientific merit of abstracts presented as either original research or case reports
• Discuss the scientific content of the presented abstracts using question and answer format
