RAISE Module 2: Universal education: A Healing Centered Approach for Campus Health Centers

This training program is a competitive renewal that builds on the success of a previous stakeholder-engaged, cluster-randomized controlled trial conducted across 28 college campuses. The focus is on undergraduate students at elevated risk for sexual violence (SV) and hazardous drinking, including those with a prior history of sexual violence, sexual or gender minorities, and students with disabilities.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Enhanced ability of campus health providers to address IPV/SV.
  • Increased use of safety card interventions in campus health centers.
  • Improved support and resources for students at risk of IPV/SV.
  • Creation of more healing-centered campus health environments.

This program aims to foster a safer, more supportive campus community by empowering health providers with the knowledge and tools to effectively prevent and respond to IPV and SV.
