Allegheny County Health Department Presentation an Overview of a Plan to a Healthier Allegheny
The purpose of this presentation is to inform the clinical staff of the 2023 Plan to a Healthier Allegheny. Every five years, the health department engages the community to assess various health services, rate community priorities and develop a plan to improve the health of residents. The resulting document is the community health improvement plan, called “Plan for a Healthier Allegheny 2023-27” which highlights county-wide goals to improve health for all.

Dr. LuAnn Brink is the Chief Epidemiologist at the Allegheny County Health Department and oversees surveillance and reporting of infectious and chronic disease, and overdose. She has been in this role for the past 9 years. Prior to joining the ACHD, LuAnn was on faculty at the University of Pittsburgh, as an Academic Partner to the CDC Environmental Public Health Tracking Network.
