ACHP- Mental Health Care Access & Parity-Webinar
At the conclusion of this ACHP Mental Health Care Access and Parity one-hour-and-a-half long (1.5) webinar:
Nurses and Physicians, Behavioral Health Directors, and Clinical Executives will have learned the latest information and receive guidance on two related topics critical for serving their members with mental health conditions: mental health care access and mental health care parity, to assist them in their daily work of navigating the COVID-19 pandemic as clinical leaders of nonprofit, community-based health plans.
Target Audience
Participants include ACHP Financial Leaders, Medical Directors, Behavioral Health Directors, Quality Leaders, and Clinical Executives from ACHP member plans.
Learning Objectives
This is this third of three July ACHP webinars that were originally planned as in-person breakout session programming for its Annual Spring Clinical Collaborative Meeting in Washington, DC on June 3-4, 2020. It will run through Zoom from 1:30pm-3:00pm, July 22, 2020.
This webinar seeks to expand the conversation about on mental health care access and parity in the United States, particularly in light of the ongoing challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees will hear from experts Tom Betlach (previously Director of Medicaid in Arizona for 10 years) and Tim Clement (Director of Legislative Development, American Psychiatric Association). The bulk of this session will be dedicated to questions from ACHP plans; please email your questions to mknauss@achp.org. We look forward to a great discussion.
