Decompensated heart failure can be a complicated disease state requiring knowledge of many different diuretic strategies and an understanding of cardiac physiology to choose the correct vasoactive agent.
Education on this subject will support our staff in making evidence based recommendations to provide better care and ideally decrease length of stay for our decompensated heart failure patients.
