Learning Objectives

To increase the audiences knowledge of quality improvement fundamentals used to improve design, implementation and sustainability of patient care initiatives.

To apply basic principles of strategic communication to improve the clinician adoption of patient care quality improvements.

To list various ways APPs can be involved in unit-based, departmental, or system-wide QI projects and initiatives.

To outline the steps and process to intiate, complete, and evaluate an APP driven QI project.
