Target Audience

Learning Objectives
- Nurses will be able to administer adenosine with a stopcock effectively. They will verbally be able to identify application of LifePak pads before administration.
- Nurses will be able to apply restraints according to policy. Nurses will be able to document restraint application, assessment, and discontinuation according to protocol and regulatory requirements.
- Nurses will identify appropriate interventions for hemorrhage, obstruction, and decannulation.
- Nurses will be able to identify when it is appropriate to culture a UA or test for C-diff.
- Nurses will be able to describe vent settings and identify which modes are most beneficial to different patients.
- Nurses will be able to identify different types of withdrawal. They will identify signs and symptoms and be able to identify the appropriate assessment tool and intervention.
