Baby Steps--Improving Smoking Cessation Counseling with Pregnant Patients

To improve communication skills for smoking cessation counseling and coordination of care for smoking cessation of pregnant patients who smoke across all team members.

  • Describe and employ the 5 A's approach to smoking cessation counseling.
  • Identify how to tailor counseling based on patents readiness to quit.
