Basics and Beyond: A Deeper Look into the (In)Fertility Journey

There is a lot of trauma surrounding infertility. Our goal is to help patients, families, medical professionals and anyone who has been affected by infertility learn tools to help them navigate and cope with it.

This course will help professionals and patients learn to navigate the obstacles that surround infertility.

1. Define the term reproductive trauma and how it relates to the infertility experience

2. Learn statistics on the prevalence of infertility in the population

3. Discuss the connection between infertility and mental health diagnosis

4. Develop an understanding of Disenfranchised Grief

5. Explore the 5 Stages of Grief and how they are experienced during infertility

6. Discuss common responses to infertility related stress and the common differences expressed from males vs females

7. Identifying healthy and supportive ways to respond to those going through infertility

8. Discuss therapeutic inventions for those experiencing infertility

9. Hear from those directly impacted by infertility as to their experiences

10. Understand resources available to those experiencing infertility and their loved ones
