The learners (ICU and PCU RNs) do not have the advanced and extensive critical care knowledge to be successful in passing the CCRN/PCCN.  This review class will give them the required knowledge to be successful.  

Healthcare is becoming increasingly complex and challenging.  Certification is a mark of excellence. Achieving certification demonstrates to patients, employers and the public that a nurse’s knowledge reflects national standards and a deep commitment to patient safety.

Learning Objectives

Learners will have an advanced clinical knowledge level after completion of the education activity. 

Learners will be prepared to sit for the CCRN or PCCN certification exam and be successful with the current passing score. 

Learners will have the tools to apply the advanced clinical knowledge to patient situations.
