Participants will be able to describe duties, behaviors and characteristics of an effective charge nurse.

Participants will be able to list resources available for the charge nurse in order to handle a variety of situations that arise during a shift.

Participants will be able to identify effective communication methods used to manage co-workers, patients or family members.
