12/19/24 - Anesthesiology Grand Rounds - How to Consume and Critique AI literature-Harikesh Subramanian, MBBS, MS, ABPM-CI

One of the reasons I choose this topic for presentation, is that I find that when it comes to AI/ML literature , my colleagues have naturally split into 2 groups,

There are those who have embraced AI, maybe with a little too much zeal and see it as a solution for every problem, and those that eschew it and dangerously so because they find it too complex and beyond the scope of their understanding.

I am hoping today I will make a case that there is a need for everyone to consume and critique AI literature in an objective fashion just as they objectively critique other literature in anesthesia.
