This course is a combination e-learning and in person sessions to prepare both nurses and social workers to provide care to trauma patients

1. Define the systematic approach to trauma assessment

2. Discuss the care of special populations in relation to trauma care specific to them  ( pediatrics, geriatrics, burn injuries, pregnancy)

3. Demonstrate the standardized body of trauma knowledge
