This program will take a multidisciplinary approach to discuss current treatment advances, patient survivorship, and clinician resilience encompassing oncology care.
Target Audience
Advanced practice providers, nurses, and other health care professionals who work with individuals diagnosed cancer.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, attendees will be able to:
- Identify the efficacy and the most current evidence-based data surrounding treatment advances used for various malignancies treated throughout UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
- Utilize resources discussed that focused on integrative modalities, psychosocial care, and survivorship to reshape patient education.
- Discuss multidisciplinary barriers related to the quality of life, self-care measures, and resilience of clinicians.
