  • Demonstrate EKG rhythm interpretation and appropriate action based on rhythm
  • Demonstrate correct application of restraints
  • Follow policy for application, assessment, documentation and de-escalation of restraints.
  • Demonstrate correct set-up and troubleshooting of high-risk low volume medical equipment.
  • Discuss nursing care of patients with high-risk low volume medical equipment
  • Demonstrate correct reconstitution and use of high-risk medications
  • Discuss nursing quality indicators and best practices for prevention of CAUTI, CLABSI, HAPI, SSI, C dif and falls
  • Discuss nursing care of the critical ill patient based on recent system updates
